Rabac / Labin

Rabac, a small fishing village from the 19th century located on the southeastern part of the Istrian coast, has become a real tourist center in the last 50 years and is rightfully known as the "pearl of Kvarner". Surrounded by the rich Mediterranean vegetation, pearly blue sea and beautiful pebble beaches, it provides comfort to all the senses. Cycling, hiking, tennis, diving, surfing, parasailing, motor boat rental and various other water activities are just some of the opportunities for relaxing and enjoying.

Close to Rabac, on a hill above the sea, lies the old town of Labin. While walking through the charming streets of the Old Town, visit the City Museum which offers a model of a coal mine - unique in this part of Europe. Also, you can peek into art studios and enjoy the beautiful view from Fortica on Rabac, Cres and Labin's surroundings. After the tour you can relax on the terrace of one of the old city restaurants and cafes. These are the places where people meet, discuss business, or just chat casually.
